Free Your Jaw, Neck and ShouldersSaturday September 15, 2012, 1-4 pm
Many of our everyday activities such as sitting at a computer or desk, talking on a phone or driving a car can put stress and strain on the muscles of the neck and shoulders and in the jaw.  Tension in the jaw is often a sign of strain and limited use in area areas of our body.

In this workshop we will explore the triggers that put strain on the jaw, neck and shoulders.

Heal Your Hard Working Hands
– Sunday October 21, 2012,  1-4 pm
Our hands are essential tools enabling us to perform complex maneuvers throughout the day.

In our daily lives our hands and arms play a central role in most aspects of our
interactions with the world so the ability to use our hands and arms freely and to feel how the rest of the body can support them is critical.

In this workshop participants will learn how to integrate their hands and arms into a more complete body image. Through gentle movement sequences you will learn how to relieve tension in your hands and arms and discover how to use them more effectively in daily actions.

Happier Hamstrings– Sunday November 18, 2012, 1-4 pm
Do you want to relieve tight hamstrings? Looser hamstrings allow you to easier do actions like bending down, squatting, dancing and running.

In this workshop you will learn how your movement patterns affect your hip joints and the muscles around them including the hamstrings.

Change Your Age – Saturday December 1, 2012, 1-4 pm
The Change Your Age program is based on the ability of our brain to grow, function and improve through practice. We need to coordinate our bodies and brains to improve how we move and to help us move in more youthful ways.

You will learn new movement patterns that will make your body and mind more agile and fit. The movements are not stressful, do not involve repetitive routines and do not place demands on your muscular strength and flexibility.
