Walking Wisely and more: Fall Feldenkrais Lineup

Last week I wrote that I was excited to be renewing my relationship with the folks at the Pilates Group studio in Richmond. Today I would like to tell you about a new relationship and another new adventure.

Angela James and I have been friends for a few years; a while back we were members of an informal women’s networking group.  Since then we occasionally get together for a walk or to enjoy her delicious Rooibos tea.

Anyone who knows me well knows how I love walking, and if you have worked with me you know how I love to help people learn how to walk more gracefully. So I am excited about my collaboration with Angela. Angela is a ChiRunning® and ChiWalking® coach, and in October we will co – teach a walking workshop, Walking Wisely.

ChiWalking incorporates many concepts similar to Feldenkrais, for example mind body connection, posture and balance awareness and the focus on making choices. I am excited to learn more about ChiWalking as we prepare to present this workshop to you.

Fall schedule
We are scheduling 3 classes a week in Vancouver. And another change, in day and time.

Classes start Tuesday September 10 and run through December 12.

Tuesday mornings at 10:30 am
    Wednesday evenings at 7 pm
    Thursday evenings at 5:30 pm New time and day

Monday morning at 10 am in Richmond. Starting September 30 New time, day and place!

We are excited to offer a great line up of workshops this Fall. But no matter how great these workshops sound, we cannot run them without participants so make sure to reserve your spot so we don’t have to cancel any programs.
