In an individual private session the practitioner provides both verbal direction and hands-on guidance to help the student explore existing movement patterns.

Together, the student and practitioner look to strengthen helpful movement patterns or explore how to refine them in order to enhance everyday functions.  

Individual sessions are tailored to the student’s learning needs. The student is fully clothed and the lesson can take place in several positions –  with the student lying on the table, sitting or standing. Props such as pillows, rollers or blankets are used to provide support or to facilitate certain movements. No invasive procedures are used. 

Functional Integration lessons are recommended if you would like to work on specific goals, prefer more individualized and focused attention, or would like to experience changes more rapidly. Individual sessions  can be combined with attendance at classes and workshops.
